The competition of having the best names in technology industry is continuously burning. Each large company including Apple and RIM pursue their legacy to dominate the technology world. The increasing public demand of new technology for conveniences fueled the rival companies to strive to cater the needs.
Entering the world of competition, Lenovo’s Consumer Business Group senior VP and President Liu Jun, recently announced that the company will continue its product expansion using their ‘Le’ brand legacy. After the previous launch of their LePhone, now they are up to competing Apple’s iPad buy launching their own LePad version in the market.
The company came up to a notion to take over China industry. Reported as saying they want to ‘win’ in China before introducing their wares globally. “Lenovo is on its way to make their dream into a reality, it has strong brand name that resonates with local buyers. That’s something that’s in their favor.” It is according to analyist Bryan Ma, associate vice president for IDC Asia-Pacific. Lenovo has got what it takes, they are widely respected for their study laptops and monitors, but the expansion would be a great challenge and might putting the company at risk and believing that 10 – 20% of their revenue will be comprised within the next five years of putting up a mobile Internet hardware sector into their business.
